Frederick Jack WILLIAMSON was born the 18th July 1927 and came from a humble background. In 1938 he took the 11+ and came 2nd out of the whole of Nottinghamshire County. He won a scholarship and attended Nottingham High School.

He graduated from Nottingham University and embarked on his outstanding and brilliant Civil Engineering career. Before retirement in 1984, he had reached the pinnacle of his profession as the Chief Civil Engineer for Tarmac International (based in Wolverhampton)…. as chief project manager negotiating multi-million pound building contracts all over the world i.e., motorways, hospitals, harbours, airports etc and in particular the middle-east, far east and south America.
He passed away peacefully on the 16th November 2016 on the Isle of Wight.
