Ways to Give
Each year, children are turned away, having passed the entrance exam. We are committed to providing the opportunity of an outstanding education, for bright children, regardless of background.
There are many ways you can support us.

One-off Donations
If you feel that regular giving is not for you but would still like to support Nottingham High School you can give a single one-off gift. These, like all gifts, will be incredibly gratefully received. One-off donations of any amount can be made via the online form

Leaving a Legacy
Leaving a Legacy
As Nottingham High School is a registered charity with HM Revenue & Customs (No. 1104251) a gift in your Will in favour of the School would be free from tax and it could reduce the inheritance tax due on your estate. You should seek professional advice when writing or amending your Will.
A solicitor will be able to instruct you on the best options available on your personal circumstances and current legislation.
For further information please refer to our page on Leaving a Legacy.
US Giving
US Giving
US Donors are able to support Nottingham High School via the BSUF.
We are now a member of the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) along with many of the UK Independent School and Universities. The BSUF is a charitable organization in its seventh decade of service.
In the 1950s, a dedicated group began to build the vision for BSUF: an organization that could support the growing need for British Commonwealth educational institutions to encourage participation in their fundraising campaigns by alumni and friends who pay US taxes and to whom tax-efficient giving is important. BSUF makes grants to public and private, sectarian and non-sectarian, schools, colleges, universities, and other educational, scientific and literary organizations in the British Commonwealth of Nations.

Payroll Giving/GAYE
Payroll Giving/GAYE
Payroll giving allows individuals who are UK tax payers to give regularly to charity by direct deduction from their pay.
If you would like to support Nottingham High School in this way, please contact your HR Department to find out if they run this scheme.
Class Year Giving
Class Year Giving
Support Nottingham High School through our ‘class gift’ programme.
A class gift is a collective donation raised by a year or friendship group to support a bursary within the School. By raising funds for bursaries, class gifts help us make a difference to the lives of talented pupils who may not otherwise be able to benefit from a Nottingham High School education.
Class giving allows you to reconnect and reinforce your relationships with your classmates, as well as strengthen your bond with the School. Participate and become a committed stakeholder of Nottingham High School and contribute to its continued success.
